IN THE BEGINNING--My Publications

Welcome to my blog. I've run through the meadow of words all my life. My first poem, at the age of five, rhymed "Stars" with "Mars". I've come a long way -- but it's not about me. What do you want from a writer and what can I do for you? Let's chat.

Please contact me here.

I've co-authored a children's chapter book with Emma Brinson and an adult nonfiction book with Austin Mardon, CM, PhD, about schizophrenia and our wild ride down that path.

I love my little studio suite on the 10th floor of a high rise apartment building in the Oliver area of downtown Edmonton.

I love nature, I love my stones, I love to walk and especially I love to write. I love my children most of all. Most of what I've learned in life I've learned from them.
"I have a feeling my career has just peaked." -- Colin Firth, after receiving the best actor Oscar for his performance in The King's Speech.
I'm on a long journey to the end of the world; to the end of fantasy and into a bottomless but authentic future. I was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia in 1978, but the delusions were not chimera; and the obsessions/compulsions have swirled down the drain like sewer water to the vast ocean.
